Santa always wrapped gifts growing up in my house so we continued that tradition with our kids. Santa wraps each child’s gift with different wrapping paper that is themed / something that they really are into that year. This works well for us because it makes it easier to differentiate which gifts are for who and less arguments between the kids when opening.
I also love that Santa wraps the gifts because when my kids were little unwrapping was the most fun part of all for them!

While there is no right or wrong number of gifts under the tree the importance is staying on budget for your family. It can be so easy to get caught up in Keeping up with the Joneses’ at the holidays. Our family does not set a specific number of gifts but instead sets a dollar amount.
This gives me freedom to be creative with how I spend that money - free item from Buy Nothing Groups, consignment deals, hand me downs from friends, items on sale etc! I begin planning in June and July and grabbing and putting away items that I know the boys will still like come Christmas time!
