Crayola Experience - Orlando, Florida Review and Guide
Is the Crayola Experience Worth It?
YES AND YES! I think I loved the Crayola Experience as much as the kids did honestly. The Crayola Experience has 31 hands-on attractions inside the colorful indoor space, and we loved them all. The boys were intrigued by how interactive and kid friendly and fun the entire Crayola Experience was. They have been begging to go back to the Crayola Experience since we left. It was a big hit for older kids too. The space is open so you can have multiple children at different exhibits and still have a line of sight to all of them at once. This is such a relief for parents like me who were visiting solo with 3 kids who wanted to do different things!
What Are The Best Exhibits at the Crayola Experience?
This is an impossible question to answer because there 70,000 square feet of attractions that await after checking in on the first floor. You can choose activities by using tokens that you get at check in and purchasing additional tokens as well.
From taking silly selfies at the photo booth, to a you design station, video recording of your favorite Crayola characters, and turning your art into a rock star with a personalized paper creation come to life.
Staff live manufacturing show is always a hit to watch how your favorite crayon color is made.
Check out the special events happening during your visit to see special characters around the experience too!
Make Your Own Crayola - Crayola Experience
The make your own Crayola crayon station was a HUGE hit with my children. You exchange a token to create and name a crayon on your own. The boys loved picking a shape to be printed on the label, selecting their very own name, and then rolling the sticker label onto their crayon. Not only is it fun to see what a crayon factory would be like and make your own but it creates unique keepsakes to take home with you.
Modeling Station - Crayola Experience
Crayola model magic compound was a great area to sit and recharge and create whatever you want! We used tokens to select various colors of Model Magic to create on our own. We loved being able to take these model magic packs with us back to the resort to play with later. The no mess aspect was perfect for our 1-year-old to play with on the airplane too!
Color Playground - Crayola Experience
The boys LOVED the two climbing structures and parents loved that there was a separate area for 3 and under. Get your wiggles out in this great place designed to let kids climb, explore and have fun!
Scribble Square - Crayola Experience
If you have children and toddlers that like to doodle on your walls (mine think this is SO fun) then they will go to town at Scribble Square at Crayola Experience with the chalkboard and dry erase walls and floor where they can draw on EVERYTHING! The entire wall and space is designed to be colored on.
Melt and Mold Exhibit - Crayola Experience
Kids can select a mold and watch your crayon melt into the shape of your choosing with drip art. It was great to watch the process happen on the melted wax tower and leave with a dog and emoji crayon! You can pick from different colors and molds and watch the entire experience from start to finish. Staff members help your child through the process so even young children can complete this!
Meltdown Exhibit - Crayola Experience
Grab a coloring sheet and head into the Meltdown attraction at Crayola Experience where heated pens have melted crayons waiting for you to use. This was awesome and the boys had a lot of fun talking about how the crayon became liquid with heat and then draw on their own coloring page.
Scribble Scrubbies Exhibit - Crayola Experience
This station was a massive hit with our 3 kids. You will receive a voucher for this with your tickets that allow you to get one free scribble scrubbie animal each to take home when you are done. Color and draw all over that animal and then wash him/her off in the sink and dry! The boys have played with these almost constantly since we left!
There are only a few of the amazing attractions that await. An interactive dark room, a colossal caddy of creative special crafts, rockin paper fun, and so much more! You could visit Crayola Experience many times and still not experience all of the fun that awaits.
Is Crayola Experience a good attraction for Toddlers?
100%! Your little ones will have a ball at toddler town! This area lets Crayola's youngest fans learn and play in colorful ways! Play with a multi-colored peg board or explore a climber made for the smallest explorers. It's just right for your tiny tot and a great place to go and get some wiggles out.
How long does it take to go through Crayola Experience?
The boys and I stayed for 5 hours, and they still begged not to leave! This would be a great activity on the HOT summer days in Florida to cool off. The Crayola Experience is all self-paced, so the time spent there is really up to each guest. Your admission ticket grants you entrance to Crayola Experience all day, so take advantage of all of the amazing fun that awaits on the day of your visit.

We stocked up on markers and own collection of crayola crayons to replenish our stash at home and grabbed a coloring book to get us through the flight! Are there on-site dining options at Crayola Experience?
Yes! There is a large and open dining area called Cafe Crayola which overlooks some of the exhibits. You can find typical American fare here and plenty of kid friendly food choices. The prices were reasonable, and the boys enjoyed their food! If you do not want to eat while inside of Crayola Experience, you can exit and go into the mall to eat at the food court. The convenience factor of café crayola being able to take a break from playing and eat without having to leave Crayola Experience was awesome.
